Life can be a rollercoaster of emotions, with peaks and valleys that can leave us feeling overwhelmed. But amidst the ups and downs, there’s a promise that shines brighter than any storm cloud: joy.
Jesus assures us in John 16:24, “Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.”
This isn’t just a fleeting happiness; it’s a deep-rooted, abiding joy that comes from a connection with God. It’s a joy that can weather any storm, a peace that surpasses understanding.
Psalm 118:1 reminds us to “give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.”
Gratitude is the key that unlocks the door to joy. When we focus on the blessings in our lives, even in the midst of challenges, we invite joy to fill our hearts.
So, let’s choose joy today. Let’s remember the promises of God and find gratitude in every moment. Your joy is coming; it’s a promise to hold onto.
Join us to gather joy for the journey as we finish out our summer classes at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church and Drake Irish Dance Studio. See the schedule page for details (and a look ahead for our Fall Series!).
